For some reason I keep seeing this film get recommend to vampire film fans, I found it really underwhelming and it absolutely is not a vampire film. It's not even really a horror film its mainly a drama about loneliness, which uses ideas presented far better in Let The Right One In. It's about a boy who believes he's a vampire who befriends a teenage girl in his flat block in the projects, she desperately wants to get close to him, unaware that at night he stalks, kills and drinks blood. Yes it's basically the plot to Let The Right One In, except he's not a vampire, nor is he a convincing actor.
The concept while derivative still could have worked but you're asking a lot when you ask the audience to believe that a fourteen year old boy could physically take down grown adults. The best thing I can say about it is that I at least watched it until the end, but there's not really a good film here, it's not the least bit as interesting and original as it thinks it is.
