Minority Report, I remember liking this a lot as a kid but as an adult i have to say, I do not like this movie. It has a strong concept, what would happen if the police force could predict crimes before they happen and punish the individuals responsible?. However a good concept does not make a good film and Minority Report is not a good film.
I don't know who Spielberg got to advise on the cinematography for this film, but the film looks awful. The CGI is terrible even for the time period. For some reason the whites in the color grading are all turned up to 100, it truly is an ugly looking film.
The acting ranges from pretty decent to awful and there are some cringe worthy pieces of dialogue that are laugh out loud funny.
It is so painfully average that I returned it the next day,
that tells you all you need to know about my thoughts on Minority Report. The only reason it gets a four is because I like the premise, other than that, this film is a waste of time.
