Becky

For what could essentially be described as an R-rated version of Home Alone with Neo-Nazis, it's a really solid film. In fact I think that description while apt doesn't really do Becky justice.
Becky is an iconic horror anti-hero and the film is severely underrated, it is fucking brutal. The set up is really simple, a bunch of Nazis invade a home in search of a key and find that they are outmatched by the owners thirteen year old daughter Becky played by Lulu Wilson, who is a vitriolic fireball of rage and one of the most badass child performances I've seen in a movie.

Kevin James Is also very good in this movie, he's unrecognisable from his most famous role as Doug in US sitcom The King Of Queens, It's one of those rare times that a comedic actor makes the leap into another genre and pulls it off. I've given it such a high rating purely because of how entertaining it is, the filmmakers knew exactly what type of film they were tying to make and pulled it off perfectly. I'm really looking forward to the sequel which comes out tomorrow. Definitely check it out.
