Stake Land is an underrated hidden gem, the premise is similar to The Last Of Us in a lot of ways, we follow two characters on a road trip across America during the vampire apocalypse to find a safe haven called "New Eden" that is free from the scourge of the undead.
The similarities to The Last Of Us are primarily down to its Americana acoustic guitar score and dark, hopeless western atmosphere. Also like The Last Of Us the main threat isn't always the monsters but the survivors.
In Stake Land the main antagonists are a religious cannibalistic cult who believe that vampirism is an act of god. It's a cool idea that some survivors would essentially become living vampires.
It's a very enjoyable movie and I can definitely recommend it.
