The Front Room is an absolutely abysmal film. It is directionless and repeats the same scene over and over and over again. The scene in question I kid you not is an old woman shitting herself in bed and saying "I've made an M-E-SS, MESS!" Which I suppose is fitting for a film that is literal dogshit.
Here's the problem with the film, its premise has absolutely nothing to do with how it ends. The premise is that an elderly woman who is cantankerous, vile, mean and an evangelist goes to live with her step-son and his wife. The film hints that she is involved in a cult , a cult that is interested in doing something to her daughter in-law's baby, but then the film completely forgets about ITS ENTIRE PLOT and has her killed by daughter in-law just because she is tired of looking after her angry racist old ass. Don't worry about the spoiler, you're not going to watch this and i just saved you two hours, so really you should be thanking me.
It is by far the closest contender for the worst film of the year.
Its an "M E SS, MESS, MESS, MESS". I hate this movie. its dogshit.
