Exam is an isolated situational thriller where a group of potential employees for an extremely powerful company are put through an obscure and intensive application process. They have to answer a question but first they have to either work together or alone to discover exactly what that question entails.
A pretty good premise and for what it is the film is perfectly decent, it has a few issues, mainly with the acting, which can come across as a bit forced. I think a lot of this is down to miscasting Jimi Mistry as an ex marine, there are points where we're supposed to find him intimidating but I'm sorry I just can't be scared by the guy from The Guru. Every time he tried to act tough it fell flat for me.
The rest of the movie really hinges on its premise, that's the draw here and its engaging and comes to a logical and fairly interesting conclusion. It's not my favourite of these types of movies but it's definitely watchable.
