The Suicide Theory

The film starts off with an engaging premise
that being, a man who cannot die hires a hitman to attempt to kill him.

Its an intriguing set up and the first half of the movie is a fun black comedy about the relationship between the two men and the ridiculousness of the whole situation.

Half way through though it takes a bit of a dive for me,
there was specifically one very vital plot decision that the writers made which I don’t think worked for the film at all.

It was heading somewhere much better
and while where i was imagining it would be would have been the more predictable route it actually had a nice point to it and was more emotionally investing than where it ended up going. A darker and more subversive ending isn't always a positive sometimes its not necessary.

Ultimately, i think for a low-budget indie movie the performances were quite good, the concept was interesting but it just didn't make the landing for me in the end, sadly but it was ok.
