Last House On The Left (2009)

The 2009 remake of The Last House On The Left is a lot better than you would think, its surprisingly restrained, well acted and tense.


Its only flaws in my opinion are that it could have gone further, in regards to its cathartic violence, not the rape scene. I am glad it was handled the way it was, fairly respectfully and that it was not overly graphic as can be the case with this sub-genre, (i'm looking at you I spit on your grave remake, seriously, half of that film is a rape scene)
I digress. The Last House On The Left is an entertaining albeit run of the mill rape-revenge flick.
