The Witch In The Window

The Witch In The Window is a supernatural drama from director Andy Mitton, best known for the movie "We Go On" and much like that film its a very decent low budget horror movie.

The set up is that a father and son move into a haunted house,
now this is a fairly generic plot but the way its done makes it worth watching.

There's not a huge amount in the way of scares but the build ups to the ones that are done are very good and how the leads interact with the ghost in the house is quite original. When they first see the apparition instead of being flat out terrified, they're curious and walk right up to her, not something you see often in horror films. 

The core of the film is the relationship between the father and his son, the actors do a good job their dialogue is funny, touching and natural.

I think it achieves what it set out to do, 
its not the best paranormal film out there
but its a decent one for sure.
