Chapelwaite

Chapelwaite is an Epix original based on Stephen King's short story "Jerusalem's Lot" which is a prequel to one of my favourite books, "Salems Lot".

I feel like this series hasn't been advertised or promoted at all and it is phenomenal, it's nearly as good as Mike Flanagan's "Midnight Mass" , a series which it shares a great deal of commonality with as Midnight Mass is essentially Salems Lot with the religious aspects of the book turned up to eleven. 

It's strange that a pretty well known actor like Adrien Brody could be in a series and literally no one is talking about it, more people need to watch this show, I enjoyed the hell out of it. 

It's gothic atmosphere draws you in and at first it plays out very much like a ghost story and gradually ebbs into being a tale of a vampirism epidemic in a small town. 

There's nothing I can fault about it, second to Midnight Mass it's the best vampire series by far and its as good as most films that deal with the subject. check it out.
