Enter The Dragon is one of the most significant martial arts films in the history of cinema because it brought the genre into the mainstream and although I recognize the films relevance, place and importance in cinema and was a huge fan of it growing up,
re-watching it, while it holds up as being a decent film with one completely captivating performance its not a personal favorite.
I think if you go into it knowing that the dubbing is a bit hilarious you'll enjoy it more. Its a fun martial arts movie but I remember thinking this was one of the best films of all time and I don't think it is that, however it is very good.
Bruce Lee is incredible in it, every word out of his mouth is poetic and philosophical and he moves with the grace of a cat, he is enigmatic and captivating to watch and would have gone on to do so much more in the film industry had he made more movies after half finishing Game Of Death.
The action has that fun 1970's silly sound effect kung-fu vibe to it,
and the plot is basically Mortal Kombat with more opium and hookers. The Ending is also one of the most memorable set pieces in all of cinema with the fight with Han in the hall of mirrors.
Overall, it remains an iconic film but its not my top ten.
