The Final Girls is a great horror/comedy which is part Last Action Hero, part Friday The 13th Satire. The story follows Max Cartwright (played by Taissa Farmiga) who attends a screening of the first film in her late mother's movie franchise on the anniversary of her death and her and her friends are transported in the picture and have to survive until the villain is killed by the final girl of the film.
It perfectly satirises the tropes and stereotypes found in an 80's slasher flick and actually makes you feel invested in the characters, it also surprisingly emotional in places for a horror/comedy. All in all I have nothing bad to say about this movie at all and more people should check it out, it's a shame it didn't get a sequel. It really is a lot of fun.
