Capture, Kill, Release

Capture, Kill, Release is a solid low-budget found footage movie,
the set up is really simple, a couple decide to plan and carry out a murder on a stranger.

Jennifer Fraser is the best thing in the film, to me it was really obvious that she based her character on real life killer Alyssa Bustamante, she has this wide-eyed enthusiasm throughout the whole thing and a wicked and evil sense of humour, she really carries the entire movie on her shoulders.

Farhang, her boyfriend is far less interesting and is way too vanilla, it's his performance alone that brings the film down to a four on my rating scale. I think the main problem is he's far too normal for the circumstances, anyone that normal would have already left once she started talking about well...murdering someone.

There are some pretty disturbing practical effects in this one to do with disposing a body, other than Jennifer's performance that's really the most notable thing about the film.

I still enjoyed it for what it was , Jennifer Fraser portrays a psychopath
 really well.
